Built Slowly, Meant to Be Shared
More than fifteen years ago, The Hohnstead began as off-grid forest land outside Missoula.
We built each cabin ourselves, board by board, with lots of windows and polycarbonate walls (for stargazers). Before all of this, we were university teachers living in South Korea with zero construction skills or plans to change careers.
Today, we're grateful to share this quiet corner of Montana with couples looking for something increasingly rare: time together.
