We built The Hohnstead ourselves for over a decade on off-grid forest land near Missoula.
Before this, we were university teachers living in South Korea with zero construction skills and zero plans to one day quit.
What started as bare land in the woods became a small retreat for guests looking to slow down, disconnect, and unplug from the stresses of modern life.
