“It is hard to imagine a place that his more welcoming and where you can feel more at home (whoever you are) than The Hohnstead. Excellent for large groups that like the outdoors.I rented the whole place for my wife’s 40th birthday and invited a bunch of our friends and their dogs, and everyone who came raved to me the whole time about how amazing of a birthday party I put together. And I all I did was rent this place. The cabins are well spread out, so your space feels totally private. The communal spaces then make the whole place feel like a community, so you get the best of both worlds: privacy and community. That’s a sweet spot for me, my wife, and most of our friends. Garrett and Alla are clearly adept at reading how much their guests do or don’t want them around. We wanted them around and invited them to have dinner with us (taco bar, which Garrett contributed elk and bear meat to), but we could tell they were carefully gauging how much we wanted to be left alone.””
